Review:

At the start of Eclipse Mountain, you’re off on another international adventure with a buddy of yours, this time to visit some picturesque ruins in Thailand. Your plan is to investigate a local legend about a petrified demon, but you’ve hardly set foot in the demon’s village when your traveling companion is taken by a savage were-creature-thingie. The plot seems good, but that’s not the case. I found the storyline to be completely boring. Though the rest of the game makes up for this fault. The Eastern setting, the beautiful art, the relaxing music make the gameplay wonderful. The hidden object scenes were also fun to do, as it switches from the ordinary hidden object to misplaced items (here you have to place the items in your inventory in the correct location). It was something different from other HOGs. The puzzles were very unique as well. My only complaint is the ridiculous amount of backtracking you have to do. Also, I had to use the strategy guide a couple of times just to advance through an objective. All in all, the game is amazing.
